Wall Maps and Free Data

Wall Maps
This section provides a description, price and purchasing information for a series of national, international, regional, provincial and territorial printed wall maps produced by the Atlas of Canada.
Free Data
The Atlas of Canada data provides coverage for all of Canada. Data elements are feature-coded and structurally clean. Base map components are available in various scales and in a number of data exchange formats. Data layers include hydrography, coastline, road network, and populated places.

Web Map Service
The Atlas of Canada's Web Map Service (WMS) is an Internet-based service designed to provide developers of on-line OGC (Open GIS Consortium) WMS compliant mapping tools access to the Atlas of Canada's base layers. By using this service, developers will have access to our most current and accurate base data for rendering customized maps. Our OGC-compliant WMS technology is provided free of charge and does not require a contract or license agreement.
